Lifetime
Membership
Life Membership of the association is open to anybody who has an interest in the advancement of science in India particularly those who pursue studies, teaching, research, or profession in algology or allied areas. Life Members pay one one-time fee prescribed by the General Body of the Association from time to time. Application for membership in the format of the Association is available on the website of Seaweed Research and Utilisation of Association. Life Members shall have the right to vote and stand for election to the offices of the Association. All members are expected to employ his/her scientific and technological expertise for the promotion of Phycology and sustaining the activities of the association. No part of the life membership fee is refundable under any circumstances.
Annual
Membership
Annual Membership of the association is open to anybody who has an interest in the advancement of science in India particularly those who pursue studies, teaching, research, or profession in algology or allied areas. Annual Members pay an admission fee at the time of admission and an annual fee as prescribed by the General Body of the Association from time to time. Continuing annual members shall pay only the annual membership which shall become due on the 1st April of each year. Application for membership in the format of the Association is available on the website of Seaweed Research and Utilisation of Association. Annual members who desire to become Life members shall pay the full amount prescribed for Life Membership. No part of the annual membership fee is refundable under any circumstances.
Institutional
Membership
An Institution can be enrolled as an Institutional Member by paying an annual fee as stipulated by the General Body of the Association from time to time. They shall be eligible to nominate one person as its representative to attend the General Body Meeting without voting rights. An Institutional Member shall be eligible to receive, free of cost, a copy of the journal and other publications and communications.
